Educational Qualifications for Indian Army bharti:-
10th/Matric pass with 45% mks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. 10+2 pass, Class 10 pass and Class 8 pass candidates belonging from the district of 24 Parganas (North), Hooghly, Bankura and Purulia are eligible to apply
For Gorkha candidates (Nepalese & Indian) – Class 10 pass only.
Physical Requirements for indian army recruitment:-
Height – 152 cms; Weight – proportionate to height and age as per Army medical standards
PFT Physical Fitness Test ( At Rally Site ) Indian Army bharti:-
- 1.6 Km Run (i) Upto 7 Min 30 Sec – Group -I (ii) Upto 8 Min – Group –II
- Long Jump 10 Feet – Need to qualify
- High Jump 3 Feet – Need to qualify

Candidates’ Selection Process for indian army recruitment:-
Selection will be through Physical Efficiency Test (PET), then Medical Test and Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE). Admit Cards for the rally will be sent through registered e-mail. before 30Age of Rally. Candidates should reach the venue on given date and time as mentioned in the Admit Card.
Recruitment rallies are planned to be conducted at Candidates who will be allotted a venue based on their home districts. The final location and date of the recruitment rally will be given on the admit card.
